Work / Case study
Island Party Music Festival,Wolf Pen Creek
A multi-thousand-person festival run entirely as a non-profit for The Bridge Ministries, and a full guest-facing system built from nothing.
The brief
Festival-scale, on a non-profit budget
The event needed everything a paying festival has: a legible site, a working gate, credentials that hold up under pressure, branded vendors and sponsor visibility. All of it with no in-house design or production team behind it.
This was their event. BYX built it, ran it and filled it, and The Bridge Ministries is who every dollar went to. We worked alongside their team the whole way through, not just on one slice of it: the plans, the artwork, the print, the install, the partnerships and the hospitality side of the day. Most of it was built on what they already had, with their leaders and their volunteers doing the work next to us. They brought the people and the knowledge of their own event. We brought the system around it, and stayed on it start to finish so nobody had to chase three vendors to find out why the gate board had not arrived.
What we delivered
01 / The gate suite
One voice, from the parking lot to the lawn
Drawn as one set rather than as a series of separate favours, which is why it reads like one event rather than eleven.

02 / Credentials
One key, read the same at every gate
A credential system is not a wristband, it is a language. Tiers, colors and access rules run across wristbands, parking passes, back-of-house boards and the staff briefing, so a volunteer at gate three makes the same call as the gate lead.
Design it once and the enforcement problem largely disappears. Design it three times and you spend the day on the radio.
03 / Collateral
Vendor, sponsor and artist pieces

04 / Partnerships
The part that is not printing.
Torchy's Tacos, Polite Coffee and Chick-fil-A were sourced and structured by Curated, not handed to us. This is the difference between a print vendor and a production partner.
Thank you
Island Party is a big part of why Curated is what it is. The BYX team trusted us with a real event before we had a page like this one to show anybody, and a lot of how we work now was figured out on that site, with their leaders and volunteers standing next to us. To all of them, and to The Bridge Ministries: thank you. We are still grateful, and we would do it again tomorrow.
